ℹī¸Bridging tutorial

There are multiple ways to get BEAM tokens on the Beam network. Below you can find one route that has often been used by community members.

Step 1: Buy AVAX on a Centralized Exchange (CEX)

The first step you take is select an exchange that supports the Avalanche (AVAX) native withdrawals. Which means you may withdraw AVAX tokens to the Avalanche c-chain network. There are a variety of exchanges that support this route.

Step 2: Withdraw AVAX to the Avalanche Network

After you've secured your AVAX tokens, it's time to withdraw these tokens to the Avalanche c-chain, the main network of the Avalanche blockchain. To support this, you need a web3 wallet like MetaMask or alike.

Important: This means taking the tokens into your own custody, so please be wary of the risks that come with having your assets under your own custody

Step 3: Bridge AVAX to Beamchain

When your AVAX tokens have arrived on the Avalanche c-chain, it's time to move your assets over to the Beam network. To do so, we suggest the use of the official Beam Bridge.

When you arrive here, simply put in the amount of tokens you wish to transfer, and select the right networks, and bridge over your assets.

Step 4: Swap AVAX for BEAM on using Beam Swap

The final step you have to take in order to get BEAM tokens on the Beam network is exchanging your newly arrived AVAX tokens to BEAM tokens.

For this, we suggest you use Beam Swap.
